entire function A complex‐valued function that is holomorphic everywhere in the complex plane. Polynomials, exponentials, and trigonometric and hyperbolic functions are all examples, while the function f:z → 1/z, which is not holomorphic at zero (but is meromorphic), is not an entire function.
