face-transitive A polyhedron is face-transitive (or face-regular or isohedral) if there is a symmetry taking any face to any other face. For example, two pyramids, with congruent regular hexagons as bases, might be joined at their bases to form a face-transitive polyhedron which is also edge-transitive but not vertex-transitive.
