statistical tables Sets of tables showing values of probabilities or often cumulative probabilities of common distributions for certain values of their parameters. Alternatively, the tables may give the values of the random variable for specific percentages of the distribution, giving only the values commonly used as significance levels in hypothesis tests. Such tables have largely been superseded by computer software packages.
