Picard Variety
Let 
be a Variety, and write 
for the set of divisors, 
for the set of divisors linearly equivalentto 0, and 
for the group of divisors algebraically equal to 0. Then 
is called the Picard variety. TheAlbanese Variety is dual to the Picard variety.
